Zaporizhzhia State Medical University

The National Medical University of Zaporizhzhia was established in the year 1903 in the city of Odessa, southern Ukraine, and then transferred to the city of Zaporizhzhia in the year 1959, and it became an institute of pharmacology, and then in the year 1969 it turned into an institute of medical sciences, until it got the rank of a national university in the year 1994.
About 5441 students, including more than 850 foreign students from different countries of the world, are studying at the university today. 

The university’s faculty is made up of 540 professors, 326 PhD holders, and 83 professors hold professors.

The university's experience in training foreign students dates back to 1973, and more than 30,000 foreign students have graduated from 100 countries around the world.

The university includes an institute for human diseases, and a scientific research institute for environmental medical issues.

The university has five buildings for university housing, and today more than 2,900 students live in it. The university has a library that includes more than 580,000 books, a concert hall and a sports complex that i ncludes gyms, football field, handball, volleyball, basketball, swimming pool, tennis courts, and a fitness club.
